Award Season

I hate award seasons , all of the award shows get so much coverage for no reason.. there are like a million fashion polices that talk about what the stars wore and there isn't much to talk about. When I looked at the dresses the actresses wore to the SAG awards I almost fell asleep, It's always the same – safe pretty dresses. The only dresses that popped into my eyes were the dresses that Penelope Cruz and Katie Holmes wore (Tom Cruz ladies :) . Penelope dress was a beautiful black Azzedine Alaïa velvet dress with a simple silhouette – you don't see a lot of velvet dresses on the red carpet so it was a nice surprise. Katie's Jil Sander cocktail dress with the cut out was chic and fresh, too bad her boobs looked really low in it.

אני שונאת את עונת הפרסים , כל הטקסים זוכים ליותר מידי סיקור תקשורתי ללא סיבה ממשית.. יש בערך מליון משטרות אופנה שחופרות במשך שעות על הבגדים שהכוכבים לבשו ואין באמת על מה לדבר כ"כ הרבה. כשבחנתי את השמלות שהשחקניות לבשו לטקס פרסי הסאג כמעט ונרדמתי, זה תמיד אותו הדבר - שמלות יפות ובטוחות . השמלות היחידות שקפצו לעיניי היו השמלות שפנלופה קרוז וקייטי הולמס לבשו (הנשים של טום קרוז:). השמלה של פנלופה הייתה שמלה שחורה מקטיפה של אזדין אליה עם סילואט פשוט – לא רואים הרבה שמלות קטיפה על השטיח האדום אז זאת הייתה הפתעה נחמדה. השמלת קוקטייל של קייטי שעוצבה ע"י ג'יל סנדר הייתה שמלת קוקטייל עם חורים ,שמלה שיקית ומרעננת , חבל שהשדיים שלה נראו כ"כ נמוכים בה.
