Lately I've been working a few days a week in my fathers restaurant , I mentioned it before, the name of the restaurant is Maganda so if your in Israel drop by to say hello :)
While my father is in charge of the first floor I get to be in charge in the second floor, I need to welcome the guests ,make sure they are enjoying themselves, I have to deal with all the checks and to make sure the waiters and the kitchen stuff are doing their job..

לאחרונה יוצא לי לעבוד אצל אבי יותר, יש בבעלותו מסעדה שהזכרתי אותה כבר בעבר פה , ששמה מגנדה. כמה פעמים בשבוע בזמן שאבי אחראי לקומה הראשונה יוצא לי להיות "המנהלת" של הקומה השנייה.. אני צריכה לקבל את האורחים ולהושיב אותם , לדאוג שהם מרוצים , לוודא שההתנהלות של המלצרים והמטבח בסדר ולטפל בחשבונות.. בעבר הייתי עובדת שם בתור פיקולו (או אם תרצו אפשר לקרוא לזה גם ראנרית) ועכשיו התפקיד שלי השתדרג, הכוח עולה לי לראש :)

I took this picture after we closed the restaurant. I wanted to wear something simple and classic that respect the job.. but something that is just simple and classic wasn't good enough foe me so I paired with my outfit this tacky belt.. it has on it this really big studs in gold that are shaped like harts stars and circles. I thought that tackiness of the belt and the classic jacket and black and white skirt and top balance each other.

את התמונה הזאת צילמתי היום כשסיימנו לעבוד והתחלנו לסגור את המסעדה. רציתי ללבוש משהו פשוט וקלאסי שמכבד את התפקיד (למרות שחצאית מיני לא הכי מכבד , אבל בכל מקרה).. עכשיו סתם פשוט וסתם קלאסי זה לא בשבילי , אז הוספתי לאואטפיט חגורה המונית עם ניטים בצורות שונות בצבע זהב כדי לשבור את הלבוש.. השגעון של החגורה והקלאסיות של הג'קט והשילוב של שחור לבן מאזנים אחד את השני.

Upcoming draft

Yesterday I received a letter that destroyed my plans, instead of joining the army on February next year , I'll be joining the army on July. My original date was on July but when they changed the date to February I forgot about the original date and started to plan a eurotrip with some friends and another two months trip to the U.S. .. I wanted to have a magical time in Europe , where I was suppose to meet a friend that I met last year in New York in Berlin , maybe even meeting some Bloggers.. in late August, I planned on flying to MD, I wanted to work in a Jewish kindergarten with my aunt .. I heard you can also volunteer in NY fashion week, so I started writing a letter to department who is responsible for the volunteers in hope they will give me a chance to volunteer, even if it means bringing people coffee. After fashion week my brothers and my parents were supposed to join me on a trip across the U.S ..
I need to look on the bright side of the story , now I can go back to my original plan to start collage on September 2011.

I wrote about the army and the plans that got cancelled so you could understand what I'm going to do with the blog.. I will try to update as much as I can now because in two months i'll be able to update only once in two weeks.. ( I hope the blog will survive) and since I'm going to be stuck in uniform for two years I'll be dressing up in the next month.. even if the event is not requiring..

שלשום קיבלתי מכתב שהרס לי את כל התוכניות, העבירו לי את הגיוס מפברואר 2010 לסוף יולי. שבוע אחרי הבגרות האחרונה אני רכוש צהלי. התאריך המקורי שלי היה ביולי ואז דחו לי לפברואר , ברגע הדחייה התחלתי לתכנן מה לעשות בזמן בין הלימודים לצבא, טיול לאירופה עם חברות עמד על הפרק , טיסה לארה"ב לחודשיים גם הייתה בתכנון .. תכננתי זמן קסום באירופה ששם אפגוש חברה מברלין שהכרתי בקורסים בניו יורק שנה שעברה, אולי אפילו איזה מפגש בלוגרים אחד או שנים. לארה"ב הייתי אמורה לנסוע בסוף אוגוסט , דודתי באה לביקור בארץ ורצתה שאני אחזור איתה, הייתי אמורה לנסוע למרילנד לעבוד קצת בגן יהודי עם דודתי.. שמעתי גם שאפשר להתנדב בשבוע האופנה, אז התחלתי להכין מכתב למחלקה שאחראית למתנדבים בתקווה שיתנו לי להתנדב, גם אם זה אומר להביא קפה לאנשים. אחרי שבוע האופנה הוריי ואחיי היו אמורים להצטרף ולטייל יחד איתי ברחבי ארה"ב.
אני אנסה להסתכל על חצי הכוס המלאה, ככה אני יכולה לחזור לתוכנית המקורית שלי של להשתחרר מוקדם וכבר בספטמבר 2011 להתחיל את הלימודים בקולג' הנבחר בניו יורק.

חפרתי עד עכשיו על הצבא והתוכניות שהתבטלו כדי שתבינו מה הולך לקרות בבלוג בזמן הקרוב.. אני אנסה לעדכן כמה שיותר משום שבעוד חודשיים אוכל לעדכן רק אחת לשבועיים ( בתקווה שהבלוג ישרוד). ובגלל שאני הולכת להיות תקועה במדים למשך שנתיים אני אנסה קצת להתפרע בלבוש שלי ואף ללבוש בגדים קצת חגיגיים מידי מדי פעם לאירועים שממש לא דורשים את זה.

Saturday night I went to a Yoni Bloch concert (Israeli singer) with some friends.. I had a blast - there is a magical feeling in concerts, some crazy energy from the audience and singer –I can't explain it but it's so much fun!

שבת בערב הלכתי להופעה של יוני בלוך בבארבי עם חברות.. יום לפני ההופעה דאגתי לשמוע כמה שירים מהאלבום החדש שלו כדי שאני אזהה קצת בהופעה, זה לא ממש עזר ולא הכרתי אף שיר אבל נהנתי מכל רגע! בהופעות יש אווירה קסומה, אנרגיה מטורפת מהקהל והאומן – זה כ"כ כיף..

Ivri Lider

My friend Lee , who came with me to both shows.

Last Sunday Carlsberg lunched a new campaign called Ibiza 2009 , the lunch party was in Tel Aviv port.. they started the evening with some nostalgic DJ called Choppy – I missed most of it but survived.. then Ivri Lider ( Israeli Singer) preformed – his performance was amazing, i enjoyed every second and I really want to marry him ( too bad he is gay)! Then came the after party with skazi, he is this famous DJ , his show was really energetic and a lot of fun , i couldn't stop dancing!
The best thing about this night was that i had an English test the day after and the partying had no affect on my test.

בראשון בערב הלכתי להשקת מבצע איביזה 2009 של קרלסברג בהאנגר 11.. הערב התחיל בסט פתיחה של צ'ופי שפספסתי את רובו , אבל מאחר ואני לא באמת יודעת מי זה לא ממש הצטערתי. אח"כ עלה לבמה עיברי לידר ונתן הופעה מדהימה! יצאתי משם מאוהבת בו.. אחר כך הגיע האפטר פארטי עם סקאזי, שבו אני ולי לא הפסקנו לרקוד ולהשתגע- וזה לא משהו שמתאים לנו לעשות.
הקטע הכי טוב ביום הזה זה שהמסיבה הייתה יום לפני בגרות באנגלית ובכלל לא השפיעה על הבגרות.

My weekend was perfect !

Friday started with a really good test, continued in a sunny afternoon walking around the city with Olivia and ending the day with a crazy house party. Couldn't ask for a better Friday.

37 sleepless hours

I woke up on 11 p.m. yesterday since than I'm up! Approximately 37 hours with no sleep. I had a literature test this morning and couldn't sleep at night cause I was nervous ,so I made the shoes I'm wearing in this post.. my lil bro, Omri , took these pics after my sleepless night and horrible test.. I took him out for a walk in the streets of Tel Aviv (sounds like he is a dog.. but his not.) ..I enjoy walking in a Friday afternoon when the streets are almost empty and it's so quit outside.. I love my city on Friday's.

קמתי אתמול ב11 בבוקר ומאז אני ערה. בערך 37 שעות בלי שינה.
היה לי מבחן בספרות בבוקר ולא הצלחתי להירדם בלילה בגלל הלחץ לפני המבחן.. אז הכנתי את הנעליים שאני נועלת בפוסט. אחי הקטן , עומרי, צילם את התמונות האלה אחרי הלילה הלבן שלי והמבחן הארור בספרות.. לקחתי אותו לטיול ברחובות ת"א, אני נורא נהנת מהשקט שסורר את הרחובות בימי שישי אחר הצהריים – ממש ההפך ממה שקורה בבוקר ובשעות הצהריים המוקדמות.. אני אוהבת את העיר שלי בימי שישי :)

Once again

Like in the post below – I'm wearing white, black and gray again.. it seems to be one of my favorite color combinations these days.. I need more color in my outfit , I always wear black because it's my comfort zone.. I'll make some experiments in the next few days.
