Luna Park

When you are on vacation you feel a little bit more free with your clothes selection , the fashion rules you make for yourself when you are back home are gone.. I'll suddenly find myself wearing something I would never imagine myself wearing around my city. This outfit is not something I would normally wear, the small amusement park in my hotel inspired me to wear this childish outfit.. this clothes combo looks to me like something a girl would wear to her kindergarten, pink and purple together is the ultimate color choice for most of the little girls. The skirt itself is very youthful, looks like I barrowed it from a ballerina or from a baby girl bride costume.. so here is a post I had fun working on.. I loved wearing this in my hotel but you will never see me walking in Tel Aviv dresses like this.

כשאתה בחו"ל קיימת מן הרגשה כזאת שאתה יכול ללבוש מה שאתה רוצה , חוקי הלבוש שאתה מקנה לך בבית פתאום משתנים. אנו נוטים להעז יותר וללכת עם דברים שאולי רק בליל של שכרות היינו הולכים איתם באזור בו מסתובבים גם מכרינו. המיני לונה פארק שהיה במלון בו שהיתי בטורקיה נתן לי את המוטיבציה להרכיב יחד את המראה הטיפה ילדותי הזה. יש משהו שנורא מזכיר שילוב של ילדה בגן בחיבור בין הורוד לסגול , הרי לרוב אלו הצבעים היחידים שאפשר למצוא בארון של ילדה בגילאים 0-7 . החצאית הזאת היא די ילדותית בעצמה, שחושבים על זה היא מין שילוב של חצאית של בלרינה וחלק תחתון של שמלת כלה.. אם הייתי אומרת שהוצאתי אותה מארון התחפושות של אחייניתי היקרה לא הייתם מאמינים?אז הנה לכם פוסט שקצת השתעשעתי בו, הסתובבתי כך במלון בטורקיה אבל לא נראה לי שתתפסו אותי מסתובבת כך ברחובות תל אביב. יש בחצאית גם קצת מקארי בראדשו בקטע הפתיחה של התוכנית , אבל את הצד הזה שלה אני אראה בצילומים אחרים.

This week - Turkey.

I'm in turkey. Got here last Thursday in the morning. So far all I've been doing is playing with my disposable camera (my latest obsession). Since I started my blog I realized I have a passion to photography, I just love taking random pictures of places and people! When I was in the 5th grade I had to choose one art class to take in my school, back then I choose photography because my sister was studying it (and every little girl wants to be like her big sister!), I was taking the class because I had to, right now I would love to take a course like this (I would even wake up in 7 a.m and pay for it!!!). Dress, Target. Necklaces, a gift from my aunt + flea market in Barcelona. Bracelets, Castro.

כרגע אני בטורקיה, כמו כל ישראלית טובה הגעתי לכאן לחופשה משפחתית של שבוע ביום חמישי האחרון. מאז שהגעתי הדבר היחידי שאני עושה זה לשחק את המצלמה החד פעמית שלי. פתיחת הבלוג עזרה לי להבין שיש לי סוג של אובססיה קטנה לצילומים , לא להצטלם אלא לצלם.. כשהייתי בערך בכיתה ה' הבית ספר היסודי שלי הציע לנו חוגים לבחירה, אני הלכתי לחוג צילום בגלל שזה מה שאחותי למדה באותה תקופה וכל ילדה קטנה רוצה להיות כמו אחותה הגדולה.. אז בזבזו עליי אז קורס שהייתי שמחה לקחת אותו עכשיו! לצאת שוב לרחובות העיר ולצלם דברים אקראיים ואח"כ להיכנס לחדר השחור ולפתח את התמונות של עצמי – כמה כיף.

לפני 46 יום נגנבה מצלמתי היקרה ומאז אני כל הזמן בחיפושים אחר תחליף זמני, מצלמה אני יודעת שתהיה לי בערך עוד חודש, אבל לבלוגרית אופנה שנמצאת בתקופה לא פוסקת של טיולים, קשה לחכות חודשיים עבור מצלמה! עדיין לא מצאתי תחליף מושלם אך היו לי כמה , בברלין הסתפקתי במצלמות של חברותיי , בים המלח השתמשתי בפלאפוני הנאמן ובברצלונה השאלתי מצלמה מדודתי שעצבנה אותי נורא והוציאה לי את החשק לצלם – אז באותו הטיול החלטתי שאני ממש ממש רוצה מצלמה חד פעמית וחייבת להשים את ידי על אחת! יום אחרי ההחלטה הנחרצת שלי הלכתי לסיבוב בשוק פשפשים מקומי ופלא הפלא היה שם איש נחמד שמכר מצלמות חד פעמיות.. באותו הרגע הסתפקתי באחת אך יום אחרי זה חזרתי וקניתי עוד 2 נוספות.. מצלמה אחת כבר סיימתי בברצלונה ואיך שחזרתי לארץ הלכתי לפתח את התמונות – בעולם כ"כ דיגטלי זה נורא כיף לחכות לתמונות שאתה לא זוכר בדיוק איך הן נראות ולא יודע איך בדיוק הן יצאו ואולי הן בכלל נפגמו.הצעד הבא שלי הולך להיות שימוש במצלמה הישנה של אימי היקרה, מצלמה אחת כזאת שדורשת פילים והיא נורא מסיבית וגדולה ובאה עם מספר עדשות שונות.

Parc Güell

When I planned my "before the army" trip , Barcelona wasn't on my cities to visit list! I was in Spain two times before , and it doesn't really interest me to go back to the same place again and again,.. But when my friend Lee offered me to join her for a week of fun in this amazing city I couldn't refuse! I decided it was time to go visit my lover .. Yes, I'm having an affair with a Gaudi, it's a secret affair in my mind and we are having it since I was 9 years old, it was love at first sight! I remember how on my first trip to Barcelona I begged my parents to buy me a booklet about him outside the Sagrada Familia ! when I got back home I showed it enthusiastically to everybody I know and even used it once to write a school paper ..

Gaudi's work I like best is Park Guell (perhaps because it's placed on a hill called El Caramel and my best friend name is Carmel!),His genius work is just exploding all over the park .. this place is sooo inspiring. The pictures in this post are from the day we choose to visit the park!

כשתכננתי את הטיול לפני הצבא שלי ברצלונה לא הייתה בתכנון, מאחר ובעבר כבר ביקרתי פעמיים בספרד זה לא ממש עניין אותי לחזור לאותו מקום, העדפתי לטייל במדינות שלא הייתי בהן בעבר.. אך שלי הציעה לי להצטרף אליה לשבוע של כיף בעיר המדהימה הזאת לא יכולתי לסרב! החלטתי שהגיע הזמן לחזור לבקר את האהוב שלי.. כן ,אני מנהלת רומן סודי עם גאודי במוחי כבר מגיל 9 , זו הייתה אהבה ממבט ראשון! אני זוכרת שבביקור הראשון שלי בברצלונה שיגעתי את הוריי שיקנו לי ספרון עליו מחוץ לסגרדה פמיליה במחיר מופרז ואח"כ הראיתי אותו בהתלהבות לכל מכריי ואפילו השתמשתי בו לשם כתיבת עבודה לביה"ס..

היצירה של גאודי שאני הכי אוהבת היא פארק גואל (אולי בגלל שהוא ממקום על גבעת אל כרמל וכרמל היא החברה הכי טובה שלי?!), הגאונות שלו פשוט מתפרצת בכל פינה בפארק.. בהחלט מקום מעורר השראה. התמונות בפוסט הזה הם מהיום שבו בחרנו לבקר בפארק ולהצטלם כמעט בכל פינה בו , חבל שהיה כ"כ חם והחלטתי לא להיות ממש פוטוגנית..

Pub Crawl

Many European cities offer a pub crawl.. it's basically a tour that you and a bunch of other young people visit several pubs with different themes while drinking a lot of alcohol and getting to know each other. On the fifth night of our vacation in Berlin we decided to go on a pub crawl.. as soon as the tour started we got a bottle of beer , we went to 4 different pubs and in the end to a party.. we got a lot of free shots through the night and most of the places had discounted prices just for us! Definitely worth the 12 Euro that it cost. Another big plus in this tour is that you get to know people from all over the world! I got to know people from Argentina ,Italy , Sweden, USA ,Canada, England, Australia and so many other places! I even "married" a really cute Australian guy!

On your next trip to Berlin I really recommend you'll join one of these pub crawl.. the one that we took starts every night at 8.30 pm from Hackescher Markt S-Bahn Station!
My next trip is to barcelona with my friend lee – i know there is a pub crawl there! maybe i'll convince her to join one.

For this fun night I wore the purchases that I made that day , H&M faux leather jacket and skirt.. the other clothes are from other countries.. scarf from turkey, and shirt from forever 21 in the US.

בערים אירופאיות רבות יש סיורי ברים, זה בעיקרון סיור שבו חבורה של אנשים (בד"כ בגילאים 18 עד 30 ) נפגשים בנקודה מסוימת ויוצאים לסבב ברים עם מדריך.. ביום החמישי לטיול שלנו בברלין אני וחברותיי החלטנו להצטרף לסיור כזה. במהלך הסיור עברנו ב4 ברים ולבסוף הגענו למסיבה.. איך שהסיור מתחיל המדריך דואג לצייד אותך בבקבוק בירה ובכל שאר הברים מקבלים שוטים של משקאות שונים בחינם ומוצע גם תפריט מוזל לאנשים השייכים לסיור. לפני הכניסה לכל פאב שומעים הסבר קצרצר אליו – המטרה היא ללכת לסוגים שונים , כמו לדוגמא בר אירי ובר קוקטיילים.. פלוס גדול של הסיור הזה הוא שמכירים בו הרבה אנשים מכל העולם , בערב אחד הספקתי לדבר עם אנשים מכל רחבי ארה"ב , מאיטליה, שוודיה , אנגליה, קנדה , ארגנטינה ואפילו "התחתנתי" עם אוסטרלי חמוד!
במחיר של 12 אירו לסיור זה בהחלט שווה את הכסף.. אלכוהול חינס שמקבלים , כניסה חינם למקומות , אווירה כיפית ביותר והכרה של כ"כ הרבה אנשים שונים ומשונים!

בטיול הבא שלכם לברלין אני בהחלט ממליצה להצטרף לכזה סבב.. הסיור שאנחנו לקחנו יוצא כל ערב מהקשר מרקט.
הטיול הבא שאני מתכננת הוא לברצלונה עם חברתי לי , אני מקווה שאני אצליח לשכנע אותה להצטרף לסיור כזה באחד הלילות שלנו בעיר.

בערב הכיפי הזה לבשתי את הקניות שלי מאותו היום.. חצאית וג'קט דמוי עור שנקנו בהייץ' אנד אם יחד עם דברים נוספים שהבאתי ממדינות אחרות. צעיף מטורקיה וחולצה מפוראבר 21.

ת"א – את היחידה אני נשבע.

Every school holiday I want to leave Tel Aviv for a day or two, I want to travel in my country and change the atmosphere. This holiday it really happened, today me and two of my friends, May and Lee, took the train to Jerusalem .. because everything was planned the day before we didn't really have a trip route, we thought about going to the old city, several markets and the zoo.. We didn't get to go to all of this places but we saw a big part of Jerusalem.. It's certainly a beautiful city! The atmosphere there was amazing, the free public transportation was awesome!! But despite all the sights I came to the conclusion- Tel Aviv is the best! I can handle a trip to Jerusalem once in a year or two, but beyond that it's not for me. I came back with a new appreciation for my city .. for the population, atmosphere, the construction and everything else! it feels right for me.. .

בכל חופשה מבית ספר אני רוצה לצאת קצת מת"א , לטייל במקומות אחרים בארץ ולשנות אווירה. החופש הזה זה באמת קרה , היום אני וחברותיי לי ומאי לקחנו את הרכבת והדרמנו לירושלים.. כיוון שהכל היה די בספונטניות לא ממש תכננו מסלול , חשבנו על לבקר קצת בעיר העתיקה , ללכת לכמה שווקים לקפוץ לטיולון בגן החיות התנכי ואולי אפילו ללכת לגן הבוטני! לא הכל יצא לפועל – אבל הספקנו לראות חלק מכובד מי-ם.. היא בהחלט עיר מקסימה ונורא יפה! האווירה בכותל קצת גרמה לי לחנק בגרון ולחלוחית בעניים ואני לא שומרת מצוות או מאמינה , נורא נהניתי מזה שחלק מהתחבורה הציבורית הייתה בחינם (חולדאי תחשוב על זה!) ולראות את כ"כ הרבה משפחות מרובות ילדים גרם לי לרצות להקים משפחה גדולה ביום מן הימים! אבל למרות כל המראות המקסימים האלה הגעתי למסקנה אחת – שאין כמו ת"א! עם נסיעה לי-ם פעם בשנה או שנתיים אני יכולה להתמודד, אבל מעבר לזה זה לא בשבילי. חזרתי עם הערכה חדשה לעיר שלי.. לאוכלוסיה, לאווירה, לבנייה ופשוט לכל דבר כאן! זה מרגיש לי הכי נכון עבורי.

I copied a little part from "The Cheap Date Guide To Style ", in the book they try to explain what makes someone stylish, and one of the factors is a person mother..

"A powerful tool is remembering formative style influences. Children are perceptive about clothes. You found certain shapes and colors pretty , and dressing up would have been an activity , with role – playing in costumes and fun with make up and adornment." ..... " You watched and admired what your mother wore and it formed templates in your imagination, with a magical , believing grasp of what clothes might say . the memory of this in later life becomes a basis of your style." ... " Hark back to yourself as the most appreciative style observer that you were as a child, and use that same fresh eye now."

I think that the way my mother dressed and dressed me when I was a child really effected my style today.. I was browsing throw some old photos and I could really see myself wearing what my mother wore. I scanned some photos to prove my point.

My aunt Shoshy is like a second mother to me , and growing up I spent a lot time with her, I'm sure her style effected me too. Nowadays we share clothes.

I love how she and my mom used to wear hats.

I never got to meet my grandmother from my dad side but I was told she was a very stylish woman , she never left the house without making sure that her hair and clothes look perfect. A relative told me that even when my grandma came to help in father's restaurant she wore fancy dresses and suites . I see a little bit of her in me.

I'm going to spend my summer vacation in Maryland and New York!!! My flight is in three weeks :) and I'm going to stay there for 5 weeks!!! I was thinking about taking a 2 courses in LIM college in NYC but I don't know what to choose..

Turkey

I'm back :)
I was in turkey for a week with my family and friends..we stayed at rixos beldibi..
it was so much fun! we met some people from Germany and alot of turkish guys that worked in the hotel!

and I was crowned as miss rixos :) ( in some silly competition they had.. it was hard getting this title -i had to do a lot of embarrassing staff!) and got a necklace with the hotel symbol yay!
