29/8- Hand Me down

My Journey in new york continued..in the second day in the course we went to hand me down showroom , we met the owner Frank Yamamoto,he told us how he got to be a showroom owner..

in his showroom he have 4 t-shirts labels for guys (like scifen)..

he works with companies Urban outfitters and big tom (in tel aviv) which is really cool cause i love those stores! it was one of the best days! and Frank was so nice..

21-28/7 -Tobe

those past 5 weeks felt like a dream!

it started by me flying alone -i felt like a grown up for the first time.. i got to Dulles airport in DC and saw my uncle and i suddenly realized that i'm actually in the USA (for the 12 time - but it was a diffrent experience)!

my courses in LIM started in July 28th so i had a week in MD before i had to leave to NY .. I met some old friends and went to my first shopping spree alone -which was very fun , i found out that when I shop by myself I buy stuff that i really really like want and need (well i don't really need..)..

on July 26th i packed my bags and took the bus to NYC, excited and scared i got there!

the awaited day has finally arrived and my courses started!

the first course was the fashion field trip: behind the scenes.. we got to meet a lot of new people and to learn about the industry..

in the first day they took us to tobe - it's a company that works with private labels (like macy's , nordstrom ect.) , they publish reports (it's called tobe report) three times a month and they analyze all the latest collections and all the stuff that are for sell and suggest to the compnies that they work with how to sell it in a better more realistic way..

the woman that we met in Carolyn Moss , she used to be a buyer in Macy's - now she is one of the editors in tobe.. her job is to go to the manufactores then to go to the retailers with the stuff she liked ans the retailers come back to her with all the statistics (what was sold and so on)..

except tobe report they also publish tobe next - that talks about the upcomings trend - now they are talking about spring 10'..

there is so much to write about this courses but i don't have any time! so when i'll go back to MD i'll write all about it! promise..

it is sooo much fun and I can't wait to tell you all about it

I got here 3 days ago and yesterday was my first shopping spree!

I bought two bathing suites :

from AA - only in Navy blue..

and another floral bathing suite from old navy..

another one from Bitten - SJP collection for steve and barry's (for only 9$) - strapless in black..

and another black dress from forever 21 - with a lot of ruffels :)

2 flip flops from old navy :

I buy them every year... so omfortable and cheap!


I usually don't post my bra's but I'm inlove with this one that I got in forever 21 : I also found some really cute bangels in Claire's - wooden bangels and silver with red.. and a necklace with stars - chanel inspired..
And I also bought a really cute blouse from forever 21 - the color is cream..

I don't have pics because I forgot my USB at home in Israel- but my friend is coming next week and she is going to bring it with her so I could post everything..

pre shopping

I started using my gift cards by buying this lovely dress from Zara on sale :) ( they are renovating all the stores in Tel-Aviv - major sales! ) :

Whenever i buy something my mother makes me feel bad about it.. so today when I bought those shoes after 2 weeks of craving she had to ruin my good mood by telling me "you won't be able to walk in these and they don't compliment your feet" . thanks mom.
( the dress she actually loved -very rare )


I was thinking about buying this bag with my store credit in ALDO :

but I just found out that the bags in aldo in the USA are cheaper ,for example this bag costs 100$ here and only 39.98 in USA.
it doesn't seem like a problem because my flight in next week and I can buy the bag there - but I can use my store credit only here!

I love the dress that my friend lee wore to the launching , you can wear it in so many ways.. she doesn't get it and wears it only as a default but at least she wears it.

-When Did Your Heart Go Missing by Rooney - I think it's a great song and I love Robert.. I love the part in the course that he sings "I treat you like a princess" (because he played in the Princess diaries and it's hard to admit but i was a huge)

-Two Doors Down by Mystery Jets - it's just a great song, what can I say?
